This Item: Ghee Podi Idli, Price: 30 Rs per Piece

This small Chikmagalur style restaurant tucked in a corner of Chandapura (Bangalore).

The Ghee Podi Idli (Chikmagalur Flower Idli) we tried was made with super fresh ghee & very tasty podi. The Idli was super soft & melted in mouth, its one of the best we ever had. The accompanying green chutney was good & sambar was average (slightly sweetish).

We feel Price was a bit costly for the ambience.

Don't expect a fine-dining place. Its almost like a roadside shop with no seating available. Stand & eat type. Ideal for take-away. Car Parking (on the road) is a big problem in that area. Service was decent though more prompt cleaning of place was required.

We recommend this restaurant to hardcore IDLI lovers around Chandapura, Attibele & Sarjapura in Bangalore.
