Chicken Shawarma + high protein pita
Makes 4 servings:
for Shawarma-
1lb chicken thighs
1 tbsp garlic powder1 tbsp ground coriander1 tbsp ground cumin1 tbsp ground cardamon1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp saltBlack pepperjuice of 1 lemon1/4 cup olive oil
Mix + Marinade everything in a bowl for 2-4 hours or overnight for more flavaaaa!
for high protein pita- 1 cup self rising flour + 1 cup greek yogurt. Mix together and kneed, creating dough ball. split into 4 even pieces. roll into flatbread. In a pan, spray a little bit of olive oil and cook for 3-4 minutes each side. until golden brown.
For assembly I added tahini, cucumbers, tomatoes, and yogurt lemon sauce.
