trying the japanese spicy cod roe packets ~

You all wanted me to try out these packets, so I went to my japanese market to give it a try. I felt like it was missing flavor and that creaminess I’m used to, so I added fresh roe and heavy cream to improve the taste. It was good.. but it’s soo much better homemade so I’ll probably just stick to that.

here are the ingredients for the homemade version —
spaghetti
salt
oil
minced garlic
heavy cream
butter
pinch of sugar
kewpie mayo
scallions
furikake
