It’s that time of the year when mint shakes arrive at certain restaurants and ice cream shops. If you want a breakfast smoothie version, this is how I mimic the flavor:

- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen spinach
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if your protein powder is not vanilla-flavored)
- ice cubes
- milk of choice to cover the ingredients in the blender
