Shashlik mainly an Asian dish, originated from the Caucasus and Central Asia. Traditionally it was made lamb but nowadays people make in with beef, chicken, pork etc. depending on the locals’ taste and preferences. However, the meat should be seasoned with herbs for some hours before threading into the skewers while preparing shashlik.

Beef (Squared Cut) - 150 grams
Paneer (Squared Cut) - 100 grams
Bell Pepper and Onion - Cubed
Tomato Sauce - 2 tsp
Soy Sauce -2 tsp
Garlic Paste -1 tsp
Ginger Paste - 1tsp
Garam Masala - 1tsp
Powder - Turmeric, Coriander, Chili & Cumin - 1/2 tsp each
Salt to Taste
Pepper - 1 tsp
Paprika - 1tsp
Lime Juice - 2 tsp
Mustard Oil - As per your need to brush over shashlik
