Surf and turf (海陸大餐) or surf 'n' turf is a main course combining seafood and red meat. A typical seafood component would be prawns, shrimp, squid or lobster, any of which could be steamed, grilled or breaded and fried. The meat is typically beefing steak, although others may be used.

Surf and turf are typically served in steakhouses in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. Surf and turf is sometimes referred to as Reef and beef or Reef 'n' Beef in Australia.

Surf and turf is a combination of seafood and steak. This recipe grills marinated shrimp and filet steaks for a deliciously simple way to make a special dinner any night of the week. You probably have most of the ingredients for the shrimp marinade in your pantry already.
