This is day 44 of Operation bake her my bestie and I’ve got a little trick up my sleeve!

Strawberry Sauce
500g strawberries
80g sugar
1 tablespoons lemon

Strawberry Biscuit Cookies
3/4 cup (120g) chopped strawberries (see note)
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled)
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (1 stick; 115g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/3 cup (80ml) whole milk, cold
1 large egg, cold
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Icing
1 cup (120g) confectioners’ sugar
2–3 Tablespoons (30-45ml) milk or heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Bake on 375 for 15-16 minutes
